Alison Hammond Set To Carry On His Legacy In New Series

Paul O'Grady Returns to Battersea Dogs and Cats Home for One Last Day

Alison Hammond set to carry on his legacy in new series

Presenter and comedian Paul O'Grady absolutely loves dogs, so he's spending seven weeks with the staff and canines at Battersea.

The popular TV personality is returning to the famous animal shelter for a new series called "Paul O'Grady: For the Love of Dogs", which will follow him as he helps out with the day-to-day running of the home and gets to know the dogs and staff.

In the first episode, O'Grady will be reunited with some of the dogs he's helped over the years, including Buster, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier who was abandoned as a puppy and has since found a loving home.

"I'm so excited to be back at Battersea," said O'Grady. "It's a place that's very close to my heart, and I can't wait to get stuck in and help out with the amazing work that the staff do here."

The series will also see O'Grady take on some of the more challenging tasks at the home, such as cleaning out the kennels and helping with the vet checks.

"I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty," said O'Grady. "I'll do whatever it takes to help these dogs find their forever homes."

"Paul O'Grady: For the Love of Dogs" will air on ITV on Wednesday, December 29th at 7:30pm.
